Week 15: February 16 through February 22
  • Monday, 9: OFF! Enjoy your free day!
  • Tuesday, 10: The season is over - what will you do with your time?
  • Wednesday, 11: Equipment turn-in, voting, Olympic Nordic Decathlon!
  • Thursday, 12: Take some time off before Track or other spring sports start up.
  • Friday, 13: Get us a copy of your spring sports schedules so we can get out and see you!
  • Saturday, 14: Good luck, have fun, and thanks for a GREAT season!

  • Week 14: February 9 through February 15
  • Monday, 9: OFF! Enjoy, rest, be healthy. The wax room will be open.
  • Tuesday, 10: JV Conference Championships at Elm Creek. 4:00.
  • Wednesday, 11: Depart for Biwabik-3:00pm.
  • Thursday, 12: C.A. Relays in Biwabik. Pre-race for State.
  • Friday, 13: State Meet, All day in Biwabik. Return-9/9:30.
  • Saturday, 14: Enjoy the day- Congrats on a great season!

  • Week 13: February 2 through February 8
  • Monday, 2: Practice at Woodland Trails, Skate, back to high school 4:00/4:30.
  • Tuesday, 3: Wax/Off.
  • Wednesday, 4: Turnover and starts.
  • Thursday, 5: Section Meet at Camp Ripley, All Day!
  • Friday, 6: Recovery/games at Woodland Trails. Race Prep for JV.
  • Saturday, 7: Lakeville Invitational: bus departs at 7:45, JV Championships.

  • Week 12: January 26 through February 1
  • Monday, 26: Conference Course preview: Baker Park, bus leaves at 9:00am, bring both sets of equipment and a lunch, return by 1:00pm.
  • Tuesday, 27: EZ at High School, clothes for inside/outside. Have skis waxed, taped and labeled.
  • Wednesday, 28: Conference Championships, All Day. Bus leaves at 7:45am
  • Thursday, 29: EZ recovery, Woodland Trails: at high school by 4:30.
  • Friday, 30: Day Off, enjoy it!
  • Saturday, 31: Practice at Woodland Trails: 9:00am. Be ready to work, classic.

  • Week 11: January 19 through January 25
  • Monday, 19: Long Classic Ski. 9:00 am at Woodland. Pick up skis at high school: 8:30am.
  • Tuesday, 20: Classic 5k, first half of pursuit. Woodland Trails: 3:30.
  • Wednesday, 21: Recovery, Ez Skate.
  • Thursday, 22: Skate 5k, finish of pursuit. Woodland Trails: 3:30.
  • Friday, 23: Recovery, Ez Skate/Games.
  • Saturday, 24: Practice at Woodland Trails: 1:00.

  • Week 10: January 12 through January 18 **Updated: Wed-01/14 and Fri-01/16
  • Monday, 12: Technique for new skiers. Long for veterans. Classic.
  • Tuesday, 13: Intervals on Classic. (Check Weather?)
  • Wednesday, 14: ez ski, starts
  • Thursday, 15: Race rescheduled. Practice canceled(No School). 60mins on your own, INDOORS!!
  • Friday, 16: Race rescheduled. Practice canceled(No School). Check the info page for "practice ideas".
  • Saturday, 17: Core body, (last week!). 7:00am.

  • Week 9: January 5 through January 11
  • Monday, 5: Technique for new skiers. Long for veterans. Skate.
  • Tuesday, 6: JV Skate race at Woodland. Intervals for non-racers.
  • Wednesday, 7: Recovery/Games
  • Thursday, 8: Intervals and transitions. Same as Mesabi Tech.
  • Friday, 9: Leave for Giant's Ridge: 3:00pm
  • Saturday, 10: Giant's Ridge (Mesabi) Invite: All Day, return late.

  • Week 8: December 29 through January 4
  • Monday, 29: Minocqua-Winter Park and Discovery Trails. Time Trial day!!
  • Tuesday, 30: Birkie Trail. Return around 7:30-8:00pm, we'll call on the way!
  • Wednesday, 31: Family time-take them out for a ski or walk or sledding. Enjoy the food! TBD

  • Friday, 2: EZ ski and games at Woodland. 9:00am to 10:30am
  • Saturday, 3: Core body at High School, 7:00am

  • Week 7: December 22 through December 28
  • Monday, 22: Long Skate ski at Woodland: 5:15.
  • Tuesday, 23: Skate intervals at Woodland.
  • Wednesday, 24: Core Body on your own or 7:00am at the High School. EZ ski.
  • Thursday, 25: Family time-take them out for a ski or walk or sledding. Enjoy the food!
  • Friday, 26: Pack for the Winter Trip- easy cardio.
  • Saturday, 27: Leave for Winter Trip: 6:00am at High School. WT handout from practice. ABR Trails, Ironwood, MI
  • Friday, 28: Minocqua-Winter Trip, All day. Lots of km!!

  • Week 6: December 15 through December 21
  • Monday, 15: Split practice - with the cold temps, those dressed for the weather will be skiing, others will be staying at the high school.
  • Tuesday, 16: On snow practice at Woodland Trails, Skate.
  • Wednesday, 17: Sprint Race at Elm Creek.
  • Thursday, 18: Classic at Woodland, EZ.
  • Friday, 19: Classic at Woodland. (Intervals)
  • Saturday, 20: Citizen Race: Races start at 10:00, Registration opens at 8:30.

  • Monday, 8: Pole Hike at Hillside Park, at high school 5:15.
  • Tuesday, 9: On skis-classic in the fields. Intervals for veterans, technique for all.

  • Tuesday, 2: Outside in shoes, intervals and hills. 4:45
  • Wednesday, 3: EZ on wheels, working on technique. Time: 4:45
  • Thursday, 4: Race Canceled! Intervals on wheels.
  • Friday, 5: Varsity: we'll talk. Easy day, games.
  • Saturday, 6: Core Body Strength. (Dress for indoor.) Meet at the gymnastics room at 7:00 am!!

  • Week 3: November 24 through November 30
  • Monday, 24: Pole Hike at Hillside Park, at high school 5:15.
  • Tuesday, 25: Outside in shoes, intervals and hills. 4:45
  • Wednesday, 26: EZ on wheels, working on technique. Time: TBD
  • Thursday, 27: Happy Turkey Day!! Get your family out for some fun. On your own.
  • Friday, 28: On your own, workouts given on Tuesday.
  • Saturday, 29: Core Body Strength. (Dress for indoor.) Meet at the gymnastics room at 7:00 am!!

  • Saturday, 22: Ride 'n Tie at Maple Grove Stadium - Bike and Run at 10:00am, Bring the Family and Friends!

  • Week 1: November 10 through November 16
  • Monday, 10: First day of practice. Dress for all weather.
  • Tuesday, 11: Long Pole Hike at Hillside Park
  • Wednesday, 12: Wet Roads: We'll be in shoes for some technique and then games. 4:45
  • Thursday, 13: On Wheels, Tech for some, intervals for others. Weather? 4:45
  • Friday, 14: Core Body Strength. (Dress for indoor.) 5:00
  • Saturday, 15: Ski Swap. Train on your own, details at practice.

  • Week 0: November 3 through November 9
  • Monday, 3: Parents/Team Meeting at 6:00 pm. We will have all the important season information that you want. The information is free, I wish I could say the same for the sport.
  • Tuesday, 4: Election Day, don't forget to VOTE!

  • Thursday, 6: Make sure you have all forms and fees turned into the office before the first day of practice.
