We are a go for Theodore Wirth tomorrow and Monday! Yes!! We will have a bus taking us down, it will leave from the high school close to 2:45. Middle School skiers, if you can join us, you will be released at 2:10 and will walk to the high school to join us. Practice passes at Wirth are $4, the same as Elm Creek. We are expecting to be home sometime around 5:30. The section team and alternates will be checking out the section course and doing some final tune-ups while the rest of the team will be taking advantage of being on snow and getting some good practice time in before the JV/Jr. High Championships. We will have the same schedule on Monday also and will take full advantage of having the snow available for us.
We’ll see you tomorrow – with skis, boots and ski clothing on/ready to go. Yeah for skiing!!

All results are up now – splits, the over-all, and the team results. A huge congrats to all of our skiers on their great performances! We saw some really great races today and are very excited at where the skiers are at in their training. We had 10 All Conference Skiers today! 10!! Congrats to Jake Schroeder, Nate Webster, Breck Hickman, Max Riebel, Joey Martin, and Ryan Trapp on the boy’s side. On the girl’s side Congratulations go to Reece Hickman, Anna Haugen, Mary Elmquist, and Mallory Adams. Again – a great day of racing!
We want to say a huge thank you to our parents – first for the Riebel’s hosting the wax party last night, wonderful!! To the parents that were able to help last night, awesome job! A huge thank you to the parents organizing and bringing food to nourish our skiers between races and after races! They were well prepared for the second race – thank you! And a second thank you to the parents on hand to help with the second round with waxing today – between touching up the skate skis and getting the kick-wax set…you were a huge help and we couldn’t have supported the kids as well without your help!
Things are going to be busy over the next week but we are gearing up for Sections next week. We’ll get you details but next Thursday at Theodore Wirth is the day. We’ll see you there!
Just a reminder that tomorrow is picture day! Have your uniform and meet down by the ski room. We’ll head out from there and get things set up.
What a day – what a very exciting day! Results are posted on the results page and we’ll get individual splits up later this evening.
We’ve been waiting to hold picture day when we actually had snow…but we can’t wait any longer. Sooooo – Pictures will be taken on Thursday at the high school. Come on over immediately after school. Bring your uniform!! We’ll start with individual pictures right after school and do team/group photos as middle school students arrive.
You may have to look hard but there are some of our skiers in the background working hard. Looks like Wirth is going to be a busy place next weekend!
