If you need to wax your skis for winter trip, Coach Varty will open the wax room will from 2-4 PM on Monday December 26th. If you have your own wax supplies at home, wax with blue, as temperatures look to be in the 20’s for highs during the trip. Should be great skiing weather! Captains remember shopping for the winter trip is 10 AM on Monday at Costco in Maple Grove. Happy Holidays!

We are looking forward to the winter trip!  Packing lists went home today with athletes.  I forgot to put on the list that if your family has a crock pot they are willing to lend us, we need at least 5 of them to be able to provide warm meals on trail.  Please email coach Litchy if you are able to send one with your athlete.

We will be taking team and individual pictures on Tuesday.  Bring your uniform! The team booster club is sending out a semi-professional volunteer photographer to take pictures free of charge.  We will post the pictures on the website later in the week.

In this cold weather, plan on us hosting practice on a daily basis.  If it is in single digits or below we have a mandatory hat rule.  You must wear a hat to keep warm in these conditions!

Winter trip forms and money are due tomorrow! We will extend the deadline until next week because we want everyone on the trip that is able.  It is such a great skiing and team bonding opportunity.  We still need chaperones – if you are interested let Coach Litchy know.

This Saturday we are planning to host our second fundraiser of the year, the Skinny Santa ski race!  Athletes are expected to help out in some way with this race.  We need treats and finish line food, people to help time, people to help with race day registration and people to help with set-up/take-down.  There will be two tents with heaters to keep workers warm.  Athletes helping with set-up should be there at 7:30am and registration starts at 8:30am.
